UPRT Australia is the only flying academy in the
Asia-Pacific region specialising in Upset
Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT). UPRT Australia does not deliver pilot licence
training: we only deliver specialty training.
Loss of Control-Inflight (LOC-I) has been
recognised internationally, across all facets of
aviation, as being the largest cause of aircraft accidents. Irrespective of a
pilot’s license, experience, hours, or aircraft type, LOC-I has resulted in
more lives lost than any other cause of accidents. Upset Prevention and
Recovery Training (UPRT) is recognised by ICAO,
IATA, and global aviation safety regulators as the necessary building block to
improve pilot skills in the prevention of a LOC-I
accident.
At UPRT Australia, we provide
a range of courses for pilots of every skill and operational level from RAAus
and RPL holders, through to Multi-crew ATPL holders. Our courses are tailored to an individual’s level of licence and experience,
and provide a multi-faceted approach to improving knowledge, awareness and aircraft handling skills to ensure graduates of our courses,
their family, and passengers do not become a Loss Of Control-Inflight
statistic.
We provide training in theory and practical flight skills in
a controlled, safe and positive environment to ensure that pilots get back on the ground safely after every
flight.
No matter what a pilot’s experience
or background an aircraft upset could be just around
the corner, and we believe all pilots will benefit from the skillset we have to
offer.
At UPRT Australia our drive and passion is to improve the
safety of our industry and we aim to work collaboratively with all stakeholders
from the individual pilot through to the global regulators to make sure that
LOC-I accidents become a thing of the past.
In addition, UPRT Australia offers specialised training in
aerobatics, formation and tailwheel aircraft. Each of our courses goes beyond
the minimum CASA Manual Of Standards requirements.
